Zigbee data hopping

hi... I am new to this forum and to Zigbee as well.

I was thinking of implementing AMR using Zigbee. However, i am not very familiar with data hopping between the nodes. How is the data being accumulated throughout the nodes? If it operates this way, the packet length will increased as well. Can anyone guide me with this? Thanks
