Default menubar

Hello,
i have a horizontal menu bar .i want it to be center of the page i.e it will sit after the header and it should have equal distance left and right hand side in all browsers how to do it.

text-align: center; on the ul is what centers a horizontal list...

The link you sent is working fine..the problem is that i have a single level drop down ...how to achieve this.

It would be easier to advise with a clickable link to the page in your post. I am guessing the menu you have floats left? If so, and if the page it is within is a fixed pixel width container, measure the width of the space to the right of the menu-- and add half of that dimension as a margin-left on the menu...

Its not in a pixel width container..its in a % width.
