Hi sanjh! Welcome to bytes.com!

It's great to have you here!

When you post, please always keep to the Posting Guidelines and when you post code, please post it in
...
tags.

About your question, that depends on your mobile. If by any chance you should have a Windows system installed on there, that will make life much easier, as you can find software for doing that on the net. If it's not Windows, Java might well be the best option, as it can be run on most modern mobiles.

You may want to have a look at protocolls like ssh and vnc, which allow remote sessions on your computer. Alternatively, you could set your home computer up as a fileserver of some sort and then download your files from there, when you need them. Again, you'll want to look into certain protocolls for that. (e.g. SMB with samba or FTP)

As this isn't a Java specific question at the moment, I'll move it to our Mobile Development Forum and I've renamed it to be more clear to our Experts.

Otherwise, I'll just wish you the best and hope you enjoy being part of bytes.com!

Greetings,
