Hello

Does any one know key in windows registry that tell us information about

windows update ?

i want the key in windows registry that store information about windows updates
(HotFix for windows) so we just retrive it.

how about typing windows update registry key in google? there are two good tutorials that pop up first which give you the registry key ?

i try it on google but it not giving me any answer .

DO you know any API in C++ or COM that tell us hotfix information

for windows OS (2008 and vista).

http://www.windowsnetworking.com/art...ate-Part1.html if you would've typed what i said in google this wouldve came up first, which it did before when i did, it gives you a key(s) and explains what it means, then just use the variety of registry-related classes and such under the microsoft.win32 namespace, and thats in vb, idk about c++ Google it for api's and such

their is no such key in win 2008 and vist like "update" key in win2003.

I am trying WMI to retrive HotFix information for windows 2008 using a class "Win32_QuickFixEngineering"

it retrive hotfix information but not all contain

i try for "InstalledOn", it return a garbage value.
