Linking to Oracle data using ODBC

Question posted by: elshaddai (Newbie) on July 25th, 2008 03:00 PM
Using ODBC datasource administrator tool in WIndows XP SP2, I create Oracle Data Source and tested the Connection. The connection was successful. However, When I tried to link to the oracle database from Access, I keep getting an error message that says "Driver's SQLNetConectAttr failed". Help

Re: Linking to Oracle data using ODBC
Hi,

A quick question on this:

Which version of Oracle are you using, and do you have the latest ODBC drivers for it?

I found something similar happened to me a while ago, and upgrading to the latest ODBC drivers from Oracle for my version fixed it.

Regards,
Zwoker.
