Is it possible to use the Trace Formula Tool while the Excel Work Sheet is protected?

Hi Guys

I really need help for this. I have Create an Excel file, in order to not let users to change anything, i have it protect by useing the VB. However, some of the users want to use the Trace Formula Tool, and it shows the tool wont work if the work sheet has been protected.

Is it a way to have my file protect, and the users can trace the formulas..
