Creating a good search box in Microsoft Access

Question posted by: kevin765 (Newbie) on July 24th, 2008 07:36 AM
Hi everyone..

I am currently building a database that has the following columns

Company
Owner
Other company information (multiple columns)

where Owner is a conglomerate that owns lots of companies.

I would like to build a search function into my database so that when I search for an Owner, it displays information on all the companies that have that particular Owner.

Can anyone help me with this?? Im completely new to programming so any websites you can recommend that have teaching materials would be really useful too

Thanks a lot!

Hello Kevin

I can suggest one site for helping you out with VB, DevGuru. I like this site because it is light in advertisement and well structured. And then there is the entire internet, (I google my questions) and most of the time I find the answer right here on Bytes. The trick is to have and clear and precise questions.
