Reporting Services close download interface without exporting

Good day All,

When I export on a workstation from reporting services to excel the download window closes without the file being created. The file is not big only 4mb.

When I export on the server the excel file creates fine.

What can I do to check why this is happening and to correct the problem?

What is the error message ?

Do you have desired access to the location ?

Thank you for the reply,

"Internet Explorer was unable to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again."

This error only occurs after the second or third try, the first 2 times the donwload interface just close.

The report is setup to create seperate pages for each group, there are about 20 groups but the total number of rows for all the groups are 10,000 rows. The smaller excel exports works fine to the same destination folder.
