Default View Web Sites Hosting Internally

This should be something simple, but if I have a web server that I am hosting a website with with the domain name of www.websitesrfun.com, I cannot access the sites internally using that domain, instead I have to use the private address of the web server. If I wanted to go to be able to go to www.websiterfun.com internally, do I have to make some sort of DNS entry that points www.websiterfun.com to the internal ip address of the web server. Our DNS runs on Server Win2k, how would I go out about making this setting.
