Need to know what technology does rapidshare use to manage its multiple uploads

Hi,

I would like to know what technology does rapidshare use to manage its multiple, large file uploads. Rapidshare has thousands of users. Still Rapidshare manages to maintain the uploads onto its server. Many users could login and start uploading large files to the website simultaneously. How does it manages this process. What is the technology behind this process.

Can somebody give me an insight abt this...
