Default Error in proxy class generation when using WSDL.exe of 2.0

Hi,

We were using .Net Framework 1.1 version of wsdl utility to generate proxy
classes for our ASP.Net 1.1 version. But now if I try to create proxy classes
for .Net Framework 2.0 version the classes are created but when I try to
consume the web service some extra events are being added which is creating
problems. What could be the problem.

Let me know if you need any further information.

Regards,
Sriram Mallajyosula

The extra events are a feature. What problem do they cause?

Hi John,

The proxy classes are generated but when my ASP.Net application consumes
these classes I get compile time errors. Is there any option where I can
disable these events from generating. I mean I ill still use the wsdl.exe of
2.0 but also supporting the 1.1 version. Please get back to me if you need
any further information.

Regards,

Can you please tell us which specific compile-time errors you're receiving?

I can't imagine any reason why you would receive compile-time errors. If I
see the errors, then I won't need to imagine...
