Anyone here using Symfony framework for any substantial projects. I'm
looking into it right now and finding it a bit.. well strange. Their
online documentation is great for running you though a sample project
but I'm trying to understand why and how it does what it does. Havent
found a whole lot useful in that regard so looking for suggestions.

Also if anyone knows of any other, better frameworks for Rapid Dev. let
me know. Im trying to get ruby on rails like functionality within php.

OMG - do you know how many of them there are? Oddly, there's none that claim
to actually slow down application development.

FWIW, when I researched the products available, Seagull was closest to my
requirements but YMMV. See also
