the "My Application" would throw up an eyebrow for me as well..... Sounds
like someone experimented on your PC when testing an app. Most likely it was
physically deleted and not "Removed" hence the floating remains.... Before
ANYTHING I'd do some serious Antivirus scanning on the system. As for the
"IE Tools", I can't say for certain but I don't think MS released anything
with such a title in the ADD/REMOVE... again I'd do some scanning...
Also, check your task manager.....see if anything "funny" is listed as
currently running...
Depending on your OS I'd post to a microsoft.public.windows* group.....
