CRUD is an acronym for Create, Read, Update and Delete. These are the basic
operations that can be performed on a file system. A CRUD application is one
that uses forms to get data into and out of a database.

I think he is honking his own horn. I live more in the Java newsgroups
and he sent the same message to all of those NG's.
