If it's very urgent it would probably be a good idea to post an extensive
description of your problem to the appropriate group. You have done
neither.

At a guess the closest thing to 'closing' a COM object is to ensure it
destorys itself by make sure all variable referencing it have been set to
nothing or to another object pointer.
