Hi,
I'm sorry if this problem should have been sufficiently discussed
here, but so far I could not find a satisfactory answer.
I'm managing rental contracts with an access database and want to
display timelines for records that each have a start- and enddate.
right now I'm using a subform in tableview with 12 columns (one for
each months) and have a query that throws out either a one or zero
depending on the contract being active in that month or not. However
since this has to work in more detail maybe with looking at weeks or
days using a tableview with 52 or 360 columns seems not to be
practical.
What I would need is a control that displays a gauge or a timeline for
earch record by interpreting a start- and enddate, so that I can view
multiple of these controls in one continous subform to see if
timelines overlap or display gaps.

I've seen this work for reports, but the problem with continous forms
is that as soon as you change for example the width of a label
contained in each record of a continous form, all widths in all
records are changed.
