Remove Access scroll bars

Question posted by: J Shrimps, Jr. (Guest) on November 13th, 2005 12:11 AM
Would like to remove both the "X" button
and the scroll bars from Access 2000.
Am planning on restricting exiting the
database from a close button on each form button only.
I believe some API code is necessary - at least that's
what KB 300688 appears to say.

Do you know that in each form you can set an option on whether or not
a. there is a close button (the X)
b. what scroll bars are shown

a. open the form in design view
b. double-click on the black dot in the upper left hand corner
c. on the properties dialog, go to the format tab and
find the appropriate items

Is this too simplistic???

Nicolaas

Sorry I wasn't clear.
I'm referencing the Access application itself,
NOT the Access forms. I'm attempting to
"unclutter" my forms - which take up the
entire sceen in datasheet view. The
scrollbars on Access itself are an additional
obstacle I would like to remove.
