Default ? Convert program to an EXE ?

I have an Access97 Database on one PC and a 2nd PC that just need to be able
to
query the Database.
Can I convert a program (that I wrote in Access97) to an .exe file for the
2nd PC?
If so, how?
I'm hoping that this way, I would not need to load Access on the 2nd PC.

Thanks
Steve

Nope: there's no way to convert an Access application into an executable.

You could use Office 97 Developer to package your application together with
a royalty-free run-time version of Access, but you'll be hard-pressed to
find a legal copy of Office 97 Developer available for sale anymore.

You could convert the application to some language that does product
executables (such as VB or VC++), but that would require a fair bit of work.

what you need is access runtime... this is a freely distributable program
that allows you to run access files 'without' access.

To get runtime you will need to buy the developer's edition of office or
seek the net for alternatives.

you can not make an exe file.
