Default recordset not updatable

Hi all

I have a form (frmEditAgentShifts) based on a single table. The table
in question has fields which lookup to other tables.

Another form has a button which opens the frmEditAgentShifts form and
displays information on the agent selected in the main form.

I need to be able to edit a single field in the frmEditAgentShifts form
- the field in question is displayed as a bound combobox. The combo
will drop down and displays the correct data but I cannot update the
recordset.

Can anyone help. Is it to do with the fact that the table the form is
based on has lookups.

thanks
michelle

Default Re: recordset not updatable

you could consider adding a subform to your form where you can edit the list
or, what I do, is add a button to open the other form to edit the list. Ask
me if you need more help.
