Problem to update record

Question posted by: ed getperso (Guest) on November 12th, 2005 05:23 PM
Hi,

I try to update data from a website (.asp) in a MS-ACCESS database
and the following message occurs :

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][Pilote ODBC Microsoft Access] Impossible de mettre à jour;
actuellement verrouillé par l'utilisateur 'admin' sur l'ordinateur
'pc05'.

And the database isn't opened by the MS-ACCESS Software .

Could you help me ?

Thank you

ED

This problem is almost ALWAYS a permissions issue. Make sure that
the entire folder where this database resides allows writes for the
IUSR_MachineName user. That should solve it.
