 Expired date problem
In a database I have a table that amongst other cells has a "current date"
cell, and "expired date" cell and an "Index Number" cell.
The "index number" cell contains code that converts the "current date" cell
into an index number. (For example: 8/29/03 converts to an index number of
3241. The index number is done on the fly and is not written to the table.
As I needed the index number written to underlying table, there is "after
update" code in the "Current Date" cell that writes index number to the
table.
Now I have to fill the "expired date" cell. This date is 180 days after the
current date. My question is, can I have the "current date" cell do double
duty. Like another line of code somewhere in the "current date" properties,
that will fill the "expired date" cell with a date that is 180 days forward
of the current date.
