On Windows, you will find under Start -> Settings -> Control Panel ->
Administrative Tools -> Services a series of services related to DB2. To
prevent such logon-failures mentioned above, I changed all those services
to use the "Local System account" in the "Log On" tab. (I have Win2K
here.) With that change I never encountered any problems after the
password was changed.
