Default db2eventlog.000 in db2dump directory

Can someone tell me what this file is all about? I found something that this
is from a event monitor.
I have 2 deadlock event monitors defined with 1 enabled but it is writing to
somewhere else.
So what is generating this file? What does it contain? Can I just delete it?

Thanks.

This is actually in internal log used for problem determination (not an
evmon file). if you remove it db2 will create a new one at some point.

Hey Sean,

So if I would rename this file let's say every day, then keep it for a few
weeks and then delete it.
That would ensure that should something go wrong the data is there but I can
then also control the amount of space used.

Correct?

Thanks.

Yep, that should be fine.
