Default MERGE statement documents

I was pointed (thanks to Serge Rielau) to the MERGE statement as the
solution to a certain updating problem I had. It works wonderfully.

Where is the documentation for this statement!?! I spent an hour at the
IBM site :
looking for the documentation, and found nothing, in any of the manuals
I looked in.

I would appreciate a pointer to the the IBM site with the documentation.

MERGE was added in Fixpack 2 for version 8.1. IBM does not update the PDF
manuals for fixpacks, unless it is a new release (8.1, 8.2, 9.1, etc.). The
changes are updated in the online manuals referenced by Matt above.

Robert,

A good way to find what you need si to go to google and use
"site:ibm.com" with your search criteria.
MERGE statement site:ibm.com
popped MERGe up as the first link.

Cheers
Serge
