Default Web Service Extensions I can't find them!

Hello.
I'm a newbie in PHP5.
I just bought a Wrox book and I started setting up my IIS 5.1 on Win XP
Pro and PHP-5.1.0RC1-Win32

I was following this web guide
http://www.peterguy.com/php/install_...tml#phpInstall
but I'm stuck at 3.1 paragraph
I can't find in IIS Manager the Web Service Extensions, infact I just
have

-My PC name
+Web Sites
+FTP Sites
+Default SMTP virtual Server

can anyone help me to go on please?
Thank You.
Regards

The guide you linked to is for IIS 6 on Windows 2003.

You are using IIS 5.1 on Windows XP.

This explains why there are items on there that don't exist on your setup.

Check out the PHP install.txt file that ships wth the PHP files ...
generally the best info and it should cover your configuration. Failing
that - use Apache 2--- it makes life easier.
