CSS styles not working for anchor tags.

The links at the bottom of the page are supposed to pick up the style
"footer". Anyone guess why it's not taking? (They are supposed to be
off white)

Your HTML is invalid:

.... and you don't specify a colour for .footer anywhere in your stylesheet.
