Default PHP SIDs

Ok, I have tried to validate some pages related to my latest PHP project. It
validates as valid XHTML 1.1 on my local server, but my host's server has
php.ini configured so SIDs are appended to each URL. I used ini_set() to
take care of this. When I check my HTML source, I don't see the SIDs
everywhere. Good. However, when the validator receives the page, the SIDs
reappear!! I don't know how this could be. If anyone else has had such a
problem before, please help out, I know my pages are valid, but alas! I
won't stick the w3c images on my pages until they validate on my host's
server.

Thank you

The same problem was discussed some days ago, see the 'Problem with xhtml
Validator at http://validator.w3.org/' thread.

Summary of the solution:

Apart from the generally unwise choice of using XHTML over HTML, serving
XHTML 1.1 as text/html violates w3c guidelines.

Leave them off anyway, it's akin to saying "Look mommy, no spelling
errors!" it's of no interest to users.
