Default Learning Visual Basic

Hello, I would like to start learning Visual Basic, and I was wondering if
there are any recomendations to any ebooks, or actual books for that
matter. I have my eye on this book by John Smiley, any comments/suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.

Default Re: Learning Visual Basic

for VB 6 I recommend:

- Visual Basic 6 Black book (for learning)
- Visual Basic, the complete reference (for a reference guide)

For VB.NET I recommend

- Mastering Visual Basic.NET (Sams publishings I believe)
- Programming Visual Basic.NET (by O'Reilly)

I have PDF files for all of these, some (like mastering Visual Basic.net
which is 15 megs) are too big to email you, but let me know, I can put it on
my server for you to download if you want it.
