im new to this so bare with me.... glad to be here first off.... but i have a question......if im getting emails from someone whom say they are in nigeria what would the time zone say? also..... if i get emails that have PDT orPST in the header.... is it from the persons time zone where they sent it from... if a person sends me an email...and it says wed,24 jan 2007 00:14:44 -0800(pst) can i tell where this email came from..... if not how can i find out where the email actually was sent from????? thanks hope to chat with you all soon...bye for now....Joni

Pretty much everything in an email header can be spoofed so I wouldn't trust anything in it. Also there are many open smtp servers all over the world so just looking at the time zone will not provide much information as to where the email came from. In the future please be sure to post your question to the proper forum or it is likely that no one will help you.
