Create DB2 LOGS

Hi!

Is there a command that I can issue to create transaction logs prior to
connecting to the database? The connect itself can be a lengthy operation
if you have large transaction logs. :))

Would the ACTIVATE DATABASE command be the right thing for you?

Yes, it does sound promising. :)
If it also creates transaction logs if I issue ACTIVATE DATABASE right after
RESTORE then it is the right thing.

Yes, it does. ACTIVATE pretty much does everything explicitly what is done
implicitly during the first connect to the database.
